November 11, 1922 CONFEDERATE VET DIES IN RUSSELL Lebanon, Nov. 11. - "Uncle" Dave Kimberland, aged Confederate soldier and a Russell county man, died Monday. "Uncle" Dave Kimberland was an unfortunate man so far as this world's goods were concerned, being a poor man, and when the end came he was living at the county poor farm. Several old Confederate soldiers attended the funeral services Wednesday.
