August 3, 1923 Confederate Soldier Dies Near Hansonville
Henry Addison, an old Confederate soldier died early last Saturday morning at his home north of Hansonville, after an illness of several months with cancer. Mr. Addison was 79 years of age. He was a good soldier, citizen and neighbor and will be greatly missed in that neighborhood.
He is survived by an aged widow and several sons and daughters.
The remains were laid to rest in the presence of a large assembly of people at the old Purcell place on Copper Creek Sunday afternoon.
