This section contains mentions of Civil War veterans from the Lebanon News (1900 to 1933), the Clinch Valley News (1894-1922), the Big Stone Gap Post (1906-1922), the Abingdon Virginian (October, 1862 to May, 1864), and the Tazewell Republican (1908). Among the mentions are a list of veterans given medals by the Daughters of the Confederacy and articles soliciting money for the Confederate monument in downtown Lebanon.
