The Daughters of the Confederacy, H. H. Dickenson Chapter, will commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Gen. Lee by holding a meeting somewhere in Lebanon, Saturday January 19th. Crosses of Honor will be conferred by the Daughters to 19 old soldiers, namely: D. K. Banner, J. G. Burk, J. W. Bausell, J. R. Campbell, John Fields, W. H. Fuller, Ira R. Fuller, Geo. W. J. Gray, C. H. Gilmer, M. S. Hurt, C. W. Powers, C. B. Price, V. Jessee, B. H. Reynolds, G. W. Seacatt, Whitley Thomas, J. C. Fugate, S. H. Wyatt, B. F. Vermillion. It might be well to state here that Veterans have to make application for these crosses and those who have not done so should attend to it at once.
