Abingdon Virginian Mentions in the Abingdon Virginian
Abingdon Virginian, 8/14/1863
Some of our boys who were wounded and captured at Gettysburg, have been exchanged and are returning. Since our last, Lt. James Henritze, of Russell, and A. G. Thompson, of this county, have returned. The latter was two weeks at Fort Delaware, and says the horrors of the place have not been overdrawn.
