Sunday morning, according to previous announcement, Rev. R. C. Camper preached the annual Confederate Memorial sermon at the Lebanon Methodist church. It was not the editor's pleasure to hear Rev. Camper on this occasion, but have heard many favored comments from those who did hear him. Ten of the twenty surviving Confederates in Russell county were present, all of whom have passed the four-score mark.
