Memorial Services Held Sunday

Sunday was memorial day for departed Russell Confederate veterans and widows. Of the 1,450 men who served the Confederacy from Russell county only 5 veterans attended the services at the Baptist church Sunday, illustrative of the rapidly thinning gray line. Revs. J. T. Stinson and E. N. Woodward were the speakers.
