Death of Col. Alderson.
The many Graham friends of Col. H. C. Alderson were greatly shocked to learn of his sudden death which occurred at his home at Tazewell Saturday night. Col. Alderson, who was the father of Mrs. V. L. Sexton, of Graham, was here one day last week and was apparently enjoying his usual health, and the news of his demise was therefore a distinct shock to his friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Sexton and children were among those from Graham attending the funeral and burial yesterday afternoon.
