Col. T. C. M. Alderson. - Died at his residence in Lebanon, Va., on Wednesday the 22d inst., after a lingering illness, in the 59th year of his age.
He was a native of Greenbrier county, W. Va., but had spent most of his life in Russell. The Progress says, No man perhaps was so extensively known to the men, women and children of Russell, as Col. Alderson; and none we are assured was more generally esteemed and loved. - Abingdon Virginian
