John W. Ball, Pioneer of Section, Is Dead
John W. Ball, 88 year old pioneer of Woodward county died at his home at Sharon last night about 7:30 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist church at Sharon by Rev. M. O. Childress, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Mr. Ball was born in Russel county Virginia. He had resided in the community in which he died about 35 years. Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Sarah C. Ball, three daughters, Mrs. Keturah Black, Wichita, Mrs. Ida B. Neel, Riverside, Cal., Mrs. Ella N. Chapman, Mutual, and two sons, Melvin and Isaac of Sharon. Once daughter, Mrs. J. B. Roberts is deceased. A brother, E. K. Ball, resides in Red Mesa, Col.
Callaway's Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
