Obituary of Leonidas Blackwell

January 5, 1917 Leonidas Blackwell Dead. Leonidas Blackwell, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens departed this life on Thursday last, aged 87 years. At the residence of his son, J. W. Blackwell, near Green Spring in this county. Mr. Blackwell was the son of Joseph and Betsy Blackwell and was born and reared near Mabins. He was the last surviving brother of the late John D. Blackwell. His remains were interred in Sinking Spring cemetery on Friday beside the grave of his wife.
