Death notice of William J. Branson

William J. Branson, a member of the 48th Virginia Regiment, died at his home in Castlewood, Va., recently, aged seventy years. He was wounded on the second day at Gettysburg, and never fully recovered. He was a gallant soldier and a model citizen.
