Aged Confederate Died Wednesday
Some time during the early hours of Wednesday morning, along in his bed, the life of A. P. Browning quietly ebbed out and the end of a long life was over.
The death of Mr. Browning was not unexpected as he had been sick for a time, and due to his advanced age, 82 years, his trouble would not yield to treatment.
For several years the home of his daughter, Mrs. Giles Dickenson, was his home.
He was an old Confederate, a member of the 29th Virignia.
Something very unusual happened at the funeral, his oldest brother, 99 years of age, was present, the deceased being his younger brother.
