Death Notice of Canaan Counts

March 21, 1914 Grandpa Counts, who is well known to many of the people here, having visited frequently with his son, C. F., died at the home of W. P. Counts, at Grants Pass last Tuesday morning. The funeral service was held at Cottage Grove Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Grandpa Counts had reached the ripe old age of 83 years. He leaves three sons, W. P., of Grants Pass, and S. C. and C. F., of Cottage Grove, and a host of friends who count it a pleasure to have known him. - Nonpareil.
