BRIEF SEATTLE NEWS
John J. Counts, aged 70 years, and one of Seattle's pioneers, died yesterday at Providence hospital after a year's illness. He had only one relative living, who resides in Chico, Mont. Mr. Counts was the owner of a large ranch south of Seattle.
