Obituary of Thomas P. Cumbo

May 23, 1916 T. P. Combow T. P. Combow, aged 82, died Sunday at the home of his son, Charles Combow, in this city, having suffered a stroke of paralysis last Thursday. Deceased was a native of Rockville, Va., and served in the Confederate army during the latter part of the war between the states. He moved to Tennessee about forty-five years ago and had resided here for about twenty years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church south, and a respected citizen. Surviving are two sons, John and Charles Combow, and two daughters, Mrs. Jack Williams and Miss Linnie Combow, all of this city. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10, interment following at Prospect. The Rev. R. A. Kelly officiated.
