S. P. Elliott Passes On
S. P. Elliott, 81 years of age, living alone at Barnett, seven miles east of Lebanon, died Monday after an illness and infirmities of old age.
His career in Russell, stretching out over a period of many years, was that of a good citizen and was also a Confederate soldier.
Mr. Elliott lived all to himself, owning a small piece of land on which he spent his declining years.
