Death notice of William Finney

July 1905 William Finney was born in Russell County, Va., April 20, 1840, and died at his home, Lebanon, Va. in January, 1905. He enlisted in 1861 in a Mississippi Infantry Regiment, and in 1863 he was transferred to the Sixteenth Virginia Cavalry, A. N. V. His record was that of a good and faithful soldier to the end.
