Death of Mr. B. J. Fuller.
On last Friday the intelligence came to town that Mr. B. J. Fuller had died at his home on Cavitt's Creek. He had been ill for several weeks, but his friends had hoped that his sickness would not prove fatal.
The deceased was born in Russell county, Va., and lived there until about fifteen or eighteen years ago, when he moved to Tazewell.
In 1899 Mr. Fuller was elected a member of the Board of Supervisors for Jeffersonville District and upon the organization of the board was elected chairman. He was re-elected a supervisor in 1901 and also re-elected chairman of the board, which position he held until the time of his death.
Mr. Fuller was about 72 years old and was a member of the Baptist church. He was a kind man and excellent citizen, and much regret has been expressed over his death. His remains were buried at the Peery graveyard hear the Fair Grounds on Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
