Obituary of Jessee B. Fuller

April 24, 1914

Jessee B. Fuller, Old Soldier, Dead.

On Wednesday of last week the immortal spirit of Capt. Jessee B. Fuller winged its flight across the river to be numbered with those who preceded him, and today he rests with Lee, Jackson, Gordon, Stuart and others, where there is no booming cannon, or bursting shells, or cavalry or infantry charges or hand to hand encounters.
In his death the county has lost another good citizen, his neighbors a true friend.
A number of of Capt. Fuller's war time comrades, all old men, attended his funeral and officiated in accordance with their custom.
The deceased was seventy-five years old, and surviving him are his wife and one adopted son to mourn his passing.
The esteem in which he was held was attested by the large gathering at his funeral.
