Obituary of John A. Garrett

January 2, 1925 John A. Garrett Answers Last Roll Call John A. Garrett was born January 9th, 1841, died Dec. 18, 1924. He was a member of the Methodist church for forty years and so far as is known, lived a christian life up to the time of his death. He was a Confederate soldier and fought throughout the war and was chaplain of the McElhaney camp of Confederate veterans. He is survived by his wife and several children.
