Ivan Griffith Dies At Honaker
Ivan Griffith, aged 83 years, died at his home near Honaker, Thursday afternoon of last week after a gradual decline for the past few years.
Mr. Griffith was a Confederate soldier, a member of the J. C. Gent Company and served his country well. Mr. Griffith was a fine citizen, husband and father. His wife, who was Miss Elizabeth Payne; of Rosedale, preceded him to the grave several years ago. The following children survive him:
Mrs. Alice R. Price, of Honaker, Mrs. Annie Piper, of Bristol: John C. Griffith of Bristol; R. H. Griffith, Bluff City, Tenn., and W. E. Griffith, of Honaker.
