VILLA GROVE MAN DIES IN DANVILLE R. P. Hanson is Victim of Long Illness, Monday
VILLA GROVE, July 11. Word was received today that R. P. Hanson died at 8:20 Monday morning in the Lake View hospital, Danville. Mr. Hanson never recovered from an attack of pneumonia last winter and the last few weeks grew gradually worse. He was taken to the hospital about a week ago, hoping for relief.
The aged man moved with his wife to Villa Grove from Urbana three years ago in order to be near some of their children and his aged sister, Mrs. G. A. Frazier, who at this time is also ill.
He leaves a wife and the following children, Mrs. Elizabeth Vis of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Gertrude Richards of Los Angeles, Mrs. Rachel Girly of Newark, N. J., Mrs. Mabel Colvin of Urbana, Sam Hanson of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Alice Henson and George Hanson of Villa Grove.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
