Obituary of Noah B. Hartsock

'Squire N. B. Hartsock, Age 81, Is Dead

N. B. Hartsock, magistrate in the Copper Creek District, Russell county, died at his home Monday and the funeral and burial was held Tuesday.

'Squire Hartsock's illness dates back several months and for quite a while had been unable to be up very much. The day before his death May 17th, he passed his eighty-first birthday. The deceased was twice married, his last wife was a Miss Litton.

During the war between the states 'Squire Hartsock was a member of Company C, 22nd Virginia Cavalry and his record was that of a good soldier. A number of comrades were expected to attend the burial.
