August 8, 1923 DEATH OF R. B. HENDRICKS
R. B. Hendricks, aged 79, died at his home in Norton Sunday afternoon after a brief illness. He was buried Tuesday in the Norton Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Huntington, rector of the Episcopal church.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hendricks Smith, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and three sons, A. F. Hendricks, of Norton, and J. P. Hendricks, of Appalachia.
He was a Confederate veteran having served with the first Kentucky Regiment during the Civil war.
