DEATH AT HONAKER

An Honored Citizen Passes Away.

This town was plunged into Sadness by the sudden death of Squire Harvey Honaker, one of our oldest and most esteemed citizens. He was well known in this county and had the confidence of his neighbors whom he served in the capacity of magistrate for over 23 years. His death resulted from heart failure. He was buried with Masonic honors, a very large number of the order attending the funeral services. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. T. H. Thornton, assited by Rev. R. O. McFarland, Rev. Strader and Rev. O. L. Terry. The burial services at the grave were beautiful. The Squire will be greatly missed by the people of New Garden.
