AGED CITIZEN IS CALLED TO REWARD
FUNERAL OF W. C. HUMPHREYS WILL BE HELD TODAY - INTERMENT AT GRANGEVILLE
Death caused by paralysis and heart trouble came to Ward Cook Humphreys Wednesday afternoon at his home on East Seventh street. He was 75 years, 6 months and ten days of age.
He was a native of West Virginia, and while residing in the eastern part of this country was engaged in the lumber business.
He came to this county in 1906 and settled in the Grangeville district, from which place he moved to Hanford in 1915.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Alexander of West Virginia, and Mrs. William Dupuy of Grangeville, and four sons, S. L. Humphreys, deputy sheriff here, Charles W. and John R. Humphreys of Stockton, and James H. Humphreys of Charlstown, West Virginia.
The funeral service will be held from the home of the deceased at 300 East Seventh street at 10 o'clock this morning, with Rev. Ward W. Hull officiating. The interment will follow in Grangeville cemetery.
