1/12/1923 TWO SOLDIERS ARE SUMMONED Noah W. Kiser and S. C. Graham Respond the the Last Call of Eternal Bugler.
Mr. Noah W. Kiser, one of the oldest citizens of the community, died at his home in North Tazewell early Wednesday morning.
He had been in poor health for several years, and for the past several months, almost entirely helpless. His mind also, was seriously effected for some time before his death. Besides a widow, a second wife, he leaves two sons, Messrs A. G. and Marshall H. Kiser, and two daughters, Mrs. Annie McCall, and Mrs. Howard Miller, of Norton.
The funeral and burial took place Thursday afternoon, from the Methodist church at North Tazewell.
Mr. Kiser was a lifelong member of the Baptist church, and its oldest member here at the time of his death. He took an active part in the work of his church until failing health prevented - a man of strong intellectual ability, and of undoubted integrity. He leaves the heritage of a spotless character and the example of an industrious and active life as a heritage to his children.
