Death of Thomas Love

Urbana, Nov. 6. (Special). Thomas Love, one of the prominent citizens of Urbana, died at his home today. Mr. Love was born in Russell county, Virginia, 75 years ago, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Love. He fought in the confederate army in the civil war and following the war came to this state, residing near Quincy. Later he returned to Virginia, and about thirty-five years ago returned to Illinois, settling on a farm twelve miles south of Urbana. Seventeen years ago he retired, moving to Urbana. The decedent was unmarried, having made his home with an unmarried sister, Miss Frances Love, for many years. He is survived by another sister, Mrs. S. F. Dickenson, of Urbana, and one brother, S. N. Love, of Urbana.
