December 16, 1910 CAPT. MILLER IS DEAD.
Another old confederate soldier has passed to his reward. Capt. E. D. Miller, Adjutant of McElhaney Camp Confederate Veterans, Russell county, died Wednesday morning at his home in Honaker after a three days illness of pneumonia. The news of Capt. Miller's death will be a shock to his friends throughout the county. The death of Capt. Miller removes from Russell one of her best men and from the ranks of McElhaney Camp a loyal member and their beloved adjutant.
Friends sympathize with the family in their loss.
