Obituary of Patterson Moore

CIVIL WAR VETERAN EXPIRED ON SUNDAY

Padison Moore Succumbed To Lung Trouble After Four Months' Illness.

Padison Moore, one of Boone's Civil War veterans, expired Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at his home on Lafayette avenue at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 14 days.

Mr. Moore was a member of Co. C. 4th regiment, Kentucky mounted infantry during the Civil War, and served from June 3, 1864, to August 17, 1865. he was born August 25, 1843 at Washington, Virginia and it was during the Civil War that he moved from Virginia to Kentucky. He resided there until February 27, 1917, when he came to Lebanon to live. He was never married. One sister, Amanda Moore, of this city, survives.

He was a member of Rich Mountain post, G. A. R. and the G. A. R. will give its ritualistic services at the funeral.
