THOMAS MUSICK

HAMLIN, VA., Nov. 16. - Funeral services for Thomas Musick, 89-year-old Confederate veteran and widely known throughout this section, were conducted at 1:30 p. m. today at Hamlin Baptist church with Rev. A. Mundy of St. Paul, in charge. Interment was in the family cemetery.

Mr. Musick died here at 6 a.m. Sunday at the home of his daughter Mrs. Rich Fraley. He was a member of the Baptist church and a lifelong resident of Southwest Virginia.

He is survived by two sons, the Rev. J. J. Musick, pastor of the First Christian church of Elizabethton, Tenn., and R. L. Musick, of Coalwood, Va.: seven daughters, Mrs. R. L. Rasnick, of Nickelsville, Ind., Mrs. M. L. Cline, of Davey, W. Va., Mrs. J. M. Price, of Cleveland, Va., Mrs. John Pendleton, of Whitesburg, Ky., Mrs. J. C. Cline, of Beckley, W. Va., Mrs. Rich Fraley, of Castlewood, and Mrs. J. Carl Cook, of Pineville, W. Va.: two brothers, W. B., and David Musick, of Cleveland; and more than 50 grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
