Obituary of Basil Mutter

September 30, 1934 CONFEDERATE VETERAN DIES Bassell Mutter, 98-year-old Confederate war veteran, died September 17 at the home of his son, Thomas Mutter, on the Jones road. He was buried in the Jones cemetery. Mr. Mutter served throughout the Civil war under Captain J. C. Gent and was a galland and daring soldier.
