Obituary of James G. Price
August 8, 1913|
James G. Price Dead.
James G. Price, of the Loop portion of Russell county, died Sunday morning after a brief illness, aged 78 years. He was a man will known and had many friends. In his death the community has lost one of the ole landmarks, a generous hearted man and a useful citizen.
Mr. Price was a Confederate soldier and bravely fought for a cause dear to all Southerners. He was as true to his friends as the needle is to the pole, was generous and kind to the poor and was liberal in his donations to the church and pastor.
Four children survive, and to them this paper extends heartfelt sympathy. The deceased was an uncle of J.W. Bausell, of Lebanon.
Rev. Barnett conducted the burial service.
