John Wesley Puckett Claimed By Death
Mr. John Wesley Puckett died at his home near Lebanon, April 21st after a long illness. Funeral services were held by Rev. F.H. Fuller, his pastor.
Mr. Puckett was a Confederate Veteran, a good soldier, and a honest upright christian man.
Before the enterment took place at the old family cemetery, Col. J.W. Bausell made a very impressive oration over the remains of his dead comrade.
