Thomas Puckett, seventy-seven years of age, a confederate veteran and good man, died last Friday morning at his late residence 3 miles north of Lebanon.
He was a member of the 29th Virginia Regiment, Pickett's Division, and was in many battles.
As a citizen he was a quiet, energetic, law abiding man, highly respected by all who knew him.
