Obituary of George Rachel

December 7, 1928 Veteran Over 100 Years Dead George Rachel, perhaps the oldest man in Russell county, said to be more than one hundred years of age and a Confederate soldier, died a few days ago and interment was made in the Meade cemetery, on Route 4, in Castlewood, Va.
