NOAH K. RASNICK, PIONEER, IS DEAD
Noah K. (Doc) Rasnick, 85, a pioneer citizen of Dickenson, died at his home on McClure river near Wakenva on February 29. He had been in poor health for some time. His near neighbor, Elijah T. Sutherland, whom he had known for more than sixty years, died about the same hour.
Mr. Rasnick was born in 1846 in what was then Russell county, the son of Jonas and Rachel (Laforce) Rasnick. In 1870 he married Margaret, the daughter of Joseph Kelly. Mrs. Rasnick, now 82, and the following children survive:
Mrs. Mary Phillips of near Trammel, Kemper and Tilden of Wakenva, Joseph S. of St. Paul, Mrs. Lydia Sutherland of Clintwood and Reuben of Wakenva.
