January 24, 1908 Last Friday night Oliver Raβnick [can also be spelled Rassnick], mayor of our town, had to take the unavoidable path to eternity. The deceased reached an age of 63 years; since 1865 he was a citizen of this town. His daughter is mourning his death along with his wife. The funeral was Monday. St. Nicholas.
