July 26, 1911 Dr. Redwine Dead
Duffield, Va., - B. B. Redwine, for many years a prominent physician in this section died here last Wednesday. He came to this section about 1869 as a circuit rider of the M. E. church from Russell county, Va., then his home. He has lived in this and Wise county ever since, preaching and practicing medicine. He was 70 years of age. He leaves a widow and several children. He was buried on last Wednesday near his home by the Masonic fraternity. He was a Confederate soldier, connected with the hospital department.
