March 16, 1928 L. J. Romans Dead
L. J. Romans, 84 years of age and a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home at Finney, early Friday morning, last week after an illness of several months.
Mr. Romans record as a Christian, soldier, citizen and husband were above suspicion and besides the few surviving silvery haired old comrades he has a host of other admiring friends who will be grieved to hear of his passing.
