Obituary of John Riley Shell

October 16, 1925 John Shell, perhaps the oldest man in Russell county, having reached the age of 94, died at his home near Cleveland last Friday. Mr. Shell was an excellent citizen and his war record was that of a brave Confederate, always at his post of duty.
