B. F. Vermillion, seventy-five years old and a Confederate soldier, died east of Lebanon at 8 o'clock Wednesday everning, his death following a stroke of paralysis.
All of his life he had been an upright citizen, held in high regard.
He was a member of Company A, 16th Virginia Cavalry.
