November 8, 1932 JUSTICE OF PEACE AT OAK GROVE DIES
OAK GROVE, MO., Nov. 8. (AP) - Thomas M. Vermillion, justice of the peace here for 55 years, died last night at his home.
Although confined to a wheel chair, Vermillion or "Squire" as he was called by his friends, had planned to vote the Democratic ticket in the election today. He was 85 years old.
He was a native of Virginia and served in the Confederate Army as a member of the 16th Virginia Cavalry. He came here in 1868.
