Obituary of Jonah Williams

April 5, 1912

DR WILLIAMS SUCCUMBS.

The announcement that Dr. Jonah Williams is dead will not be a surprise as his death had been almost hourly expected for some time.

The end came last week after months of suffering with consumption at his home hear Dickensonville in the Copper Creek District.

Dr. Williams was a practicing physician in that portion of the county for many long years and had accumulated considerable property.

Be it said to his credit and to his memory that the poor people in the limits of his practice were never neglected whether it was medicine or meat or bread they needed.

In the death of Dr. Williams the county sustains the loss of a grand old man.
