After a life well spent Sam Wilson who enlisted in the war of the sixties died near Carterton, Russell county Monday morning after a short illness of grip.
His record as a Confederate soldier was all that could be desired. His death will be keenly felt in the neighborhood in which he lived. he was close around 78 years of age.
