I CERTIFY that Albert A. Boyd, late a private of Captain C. A. Bussey's Company (G), 37th Regiment Va. Infantry was enlisted at New Garden, Va on the 13th day of July 1861, by Capt. Wm. J. Kindrick and that he died at Staunton, Va on the 21st day of August 1862 of wounds rec'd at the Battle of Mcdowell May the 8th 1862.
The said Albert A. Boyd was last paid by Capt. Cole ast Quartermaster, to include the 30th day of April 1862 and has pay due from that time to the date of his death. Aug the 21st 1862.
There is due him twenty five dollards commutation for clothing.
