Robt. Boyd of Capt. Cowan's Company (I) 37 Va. Regt of Confederate States Army was enlisted by Capt. S. Hunt of the 37th Regt of Va. at New Garden Va on the 8th day of May to serve one year. He was born in Russell Co State of Va, is Twenty eight years of age, 5 feet 10 1/2 inches in height, Dark complexion blue eyes, black hair & by occupation when enlisted a farmer. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days.
