I CERTIFY, that Isaiah Hess, late a private of Captain Wm. J. Kendrick Company (G), 37 Regiment Virginia Volunteers, was enlisted at New Garden on the 13 day of July 1861, by Wm. J. Kendrick, and that he died at Winchester on the 22 day of Feb., 1862 with typhoid fever.
