The records show that Albert Jessee, (also borne as A. B. Jessey) private Co. C, 29th Reg't., Virginia Infantry C. S. A. enlisted August 1, 1862, at Lebanon. Company muster roll for Mar. and April 1863, last on which borne, shows him absent sick at hospital. Subsequent rolls partly cover the period from Apr. 1, 1864 to Dec. 31, 1864. He was admitted into Receiving and Wayside Hospital, (Genl Hospt. No. 9,) Richmond, Va., Sept. 12, 1863, and returned to duty Sept. 13, 1863.
No later record found, and no record of capture or parole found.
